Customer Success Gatherings Around the Globe
I have been excited to see so many Customer Success (CS) communities come to life over the past 2-3 years. It is inspiring to see people being so interested and excited about CS. One thing I have noticed about these communities is that they are mostly either virtual in nature or built around one specific area or city.
I have been volunteering with the Customer Success Network (CSN) for the past 3.5 years to help bring current and aspiring CS professionals together around the globe. This year I am working with the new CSN CEO, Colin Burke, to bring our Café’s, the in-person engagements in cities across the globe, to life in new and exciting ways.
The Customer Success Network has been around since 2018 and has been creating both in person and online communities. I first joined as a member when I moved to Dublin and wanted to meet more local people with similar professional interests.
With these other communities doing great work in the online space, I think the CSN has a head start and unique opportunity to create amazing in person engagements in cities around the globe with the backing of a global organization. My goal is to build the infrastructure needed to make being a café lead easy and accessible. I have spent the last year co-leading our Dublin cafes and it has given me deep insight into what it takes to make these happen.
My goal this year is to map out the cities where a café would provide impact, create lists of venues and speakers who can make these gatherings successful, try out new and creative meetup formats, and amplify the marketing to drive additional attendees to the events.
If you would like to come on this journey with me, we are currently recruiting Café Leads in the cities below, but I would be open if you want to start one somewhere else.
Currently Recruiting for Leads in: Dublin, Berlin, London, Birmingham (UK), Madrid, Paris
